Modern classical music. (Warning: if you think everything after Brahms is rubbish, you probably will not enjoy these. Especially the second one.)
The first is a wind quintet written about halfway through this year.
The second is a piece for the string cohort of a symphony orchestra (finished last Friday!), with each part being independent.Both played by my notation software, so some effects (col legno bowing, stopped horn) are not heard.
The string piece is a textural piece that sounds not unlike some Ligeti or Xenakis.
