I seem to be nostaglic as far as pop-culture. I listen to 60s-70s-80s-90s music...and watch shows like Seinfeld, Frasier, Married With Children, Full House, the original 90210, X-Files, Cheers, Who's The Boss, 90s Simpsons, and so on. I dress like someone from the 90s (kind of like Niles in Frasier) and like women that dress like Roz or Elaine (Business woman look.) I seem to have better conversations when I go on dates with 30 or 40 somethings than with women my own age.

The only thing I can talk to men my own age about is common friends, sports, or women. With women, I just listen to what they have to say about themselves.

I get the impression that if you gave me my same exact life, and made me this age in 1995ish, that I'd be "hip" back then.

I feel like I should have been born 100 years from now. Or at least, my own vision of how the world could be 100 years from now.

I feel I was born to early. I shouldn't have been born at all yet. I should be born in the future when people are more accepting and genius is encouraged instead of focusing all one's energry on learning social skills and how to speak. My mum and dad romatize on the 1950's whereas I consider the 1990's the dark ages.

I feel an affinity for many times. I have a strong desire for modern amenities, so I wouldn't want to live before the 60s, I think. I remember the world in the 80s and I liked it a lot. The 90s weren't quite as good, but they were still enjoyable.

I feel vertigo on this side of the millenium. I know it's an artificial number; it's just that this has been a very ugly decade, and I'm frustrated with the world.

I don't know how I feel about the internet . . . but I did like the internet when nobody much was using it.

I also miss Nintendo 64. I never did beat Zelda.

I feel sometimes that i was born in the wrong time. Though I do like xbox and wii and internet, I feel like I would be better of being born in a time that is more accepting of people with poor social skills and common sense.

My musical taste would suggest I should have been born at least a century ago. The fact that I'm a female who would like to be allowed to think and not be accused of witchcraft or heresy suggests that it's just as well I was born when I was.

My taste in music and clothes suggest that I should have been born sometime between 1944 and 1950. I would have been able to enjoy the 60s to the fullest.

the far future for me.....maybe the year 10,000 would be nice. or 20,000. dan the human and louie the wonder dog, along with louie's feline sisters sara and k2. frozen today and thawed in the year 22,010. wow, the possibilities! the
'doctors' of the future would take my broken hulk and transform it to perfection......louie also would be 'repaired' to
young 'dog' status, with a few upgrades, like the ability to speak. not change him, just make the hound howls sound to my ears like words i know he wants to use. along the lines of "hey, dumbass, watch where you're driving!"

not that i've dreamed about this or anything.

If I had a choice, I would have been born 5 years prior to when I was. Of course, that's assuming everything would have turned out better that way :?

As it is, I'm happy with who I am. It took me a while, and lots of depression and confusion, but I got there, and I wouldn't want to live in any other historical time period on any country on Earth.

Instead of being born in 1991, I sometimes wish that I could have been born in 1981 - that way, I could have come of age in the '90s while getting a taste of the '80s.

I was born in 1983 and don't recall remembering anything before 1989 as far as pop-culture. End Of The Innocence album by Don Henley, Nick Of Time album by Bonnie Ratii, and others came out that year. I also remember hearing "I wish it would rain down" by Phil Collins in a pizzeria next to the place my dad used to work out.

I would like to have been born somewhere between 1935-40. Most things about the 50s I love, and the fashions would have really suited me. This era just seems like nothing, there's nothing particularly unique about the 90s or 00s except perhaps the technologies.

I should have been born 10-30 years before I actually was.

I'm told I should have been born in another century. But this one seems fine to me without knowing the future while knowing the past.

Sometimes I feel like living in another time would have been easier..however since we women are very free and liberated in general these days, I am not eager to be transported to the days of pinafores..or those of hard drugs of the 1960s.
