Its not like Ive got a big tongue, and I certainly havnt got a small mouth, but in recent years my tongue just seems to big for my mouth and so Iam constantly aware of it, like somebodies put something foriegn in my mouth that shouldnt be there.,

Iam also tongue thrusting, even asleep, so when I wake up my tongue has all these bulges around the edge where its been pushed against the gap in my teeth, I have to talk quickly and repetitively to a lot of people at work and sometimes my tongue almost gets caught in the gaps of my teeth, or my speech becomes slightly slurrred.

It seemed to start a few years back when I had the backs of my front teeth descaled at the dentist, and couldnt help feeling the area with my tongue.

Help!, how can I stop?

where does everybodies tongue sit at normal position in thier mouths?
the tip of my tongue pushes against the back of my lower front teeth, but wants to go out further.

My tongue isn't too big for my mouth, but I have the same issues. I can't even bite or eat things correctly because my bottom incisors are pushed forward quite a bit. I just became more conscious of it and kept my tongue relaxed at the roof of my mouth or in the middle.

My tongue pushes at my bottom teeth too. I wave it around a lot too when I stim. It flicks against my upper left teeth.
It doesn't bother me much. You should see my feet. They're much worse.

My experiences of tongue consciousness have been brief.

my tongue sometimes gets bitten by my molars so either the mouth is too small or the tongue is too large, depending on which you ask. the tongue rests against the hard palate and the tip touches behind the central incisors.
