I'm crazy for her, she puts a smile on my face. I feel great when I am with her. I'm not sorry for how I feel. Its just human nature.

That may be so, but that doesn't stop many guys from looking at the situation as a "challenge."

That's very true. Men like that have no honor. Women are just objects to be owned to them.

I actually think it has much less to do with her and much more to do with him and his ego.

Same difference. A woman is an object to be owned = A woman can't say no to *me*.

Me and her would never be together even if she broke up with her husband. As a member of staff and me as a client, the social compact thingy is well and truly in place.

The fact that you are incapable of respecting her current relationship or her context speaks volumes, in my opinion.

So misguided aren't you! I have met her husband and we got on. I don't have a problem with him or her.

We may be saying the same thing. People very often (especially) want what they can't have. Women are not perfectly immune/innocent either. At least that was true when I was married. I will admit that men are typically much worse in this way, however.

Yeah, I think we are. lol I agree, women aren't immune.

I look at marriage as a sort of mutual ownership in which both partners are seeking the best for each other. Well, that's the way it is in any marriage that WORKS. I do happen to think that it's more natural for the man to take a leadership role as the figurehead of the household. But that only really means that I'm the only one holding veto power. The ideal is for both to either agree together/disagree together and not split down the middle. But when decisions are split, I have no problem in most situations taking my wife's side on the matter and choosing to trust her judgment.

The problem of cheating, though, is that it threatens any kind of stability within committed relationships. And if a husband really does love his wife and maintain a close, intimate relationship with her, he'll probably deem the relationship worth fighting for. Stealing someone's spouse (this applies to husbands and wives equally) is a low thing to try to do. If this happened to me, I would to the greatest extent of the law do everything possible to make the parties involved as miserable as legally allowable. My wife, of course, because I want her back, and her lover for being a low-life.

I would expect my wife to give me the same treatment if I tried to leave her for someone else.
