Anyone here that has or has had obsessions with ALL of the following sometime in their life?

Comic books, with a strong emphasis on GhostRider

New Kids on the Block, a rock band that was popular a long time ago

Star Trek? You know, the TV series and possibly the movies?

New kids was NEVER a rock band. They were a boy band and a marketing tool to sell records.

When I was younger say in middle school, I was real heavy into the Star Trek. I would always speak in terms of logic, I had the technical manual for TNG and DS9 and I had a bunch of books like "The Metaphysics of Star Trek", "The Biology of Star Trek" and so on.

Not so much anymore, but I still appreciate watching a show now and then.

I wrote this out of curiosity. There was a kid who I went to school with years ago had expressed a strong obsession for these sorts of things. I am pretty sure he was aspie, though never diagnosed, and was just wondering if he was hanging around these forums at all.

"Yes" to comics and Trek (DS9 was my fav)
"No" to the New Kids though--my sister was crazy about them, and drove me nuts by repeatedly playing their crap.

I like some comic books, but my big thing was Thunderbolts, not Ghost Rider.

Oh, and my parents are trekkies! Heh. Not, like, super hardcore "dress up and go to every convention, own every DVD box set" trekkies, but they were really into the various series. Especially The Next Generation, because of its great cast of characters.

I loved Star Trek, but wasn't obsessed enough to go to a convention, but I have every movie on tape except for the last one they made. If I catch any of the shows while channel surfing, I'll watch whatever episode is on. Ditto on New Kids on the Block, but that only lasted a year. I don't remember getting into comics that much.

I have The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine series on DVD. I am currently collecting the Voyager series. Money is a bit of an issue, though.
I also have quite a few Star Trek books.
So yeah, Star Trek is an obsession of mine.

As someone who owns all the X-Files sets (when they first came out) and collects HBO shows like Sopranos and Deadwood, I feel your pain.
