I'm back, sorry for the very, very long absence.

Hey everyone, Dartman's back, after a long absence.

Most of this absence was to due with me sorting my life out - after having ten weeks of counselling in Sheffield to help me out with my self-confidence, and my paranoia regarding other people (I used to - and still do - think that people give me 'looks' whenever they see me, and as a result, I think that people hate me for simply being me

Anywho, I haven't been on the forum for a while, so if someone could fill me in on what's been going on, then that would be great. If anyone's got the same issues with paranoia that I've described, it would be really great if I could get in touch - I'm still very low on friends.

By the way, my hobbies have not changed as a result of my re-thinking - I still love ball sports, motorsport, science/technology/computers, computer games (in an amateur sense - I've decided that I will be better off working in other IT sectors), writing, cars, photography, and seeing new places.

Apologies again for the wait,

Dartman

I don't know you, but welcome back.

Paranoia is tricky. When people look at me, I try to imagine what else they might be thinking. Perhaps they're just really busy. But since we're not interacting, really, I try to remember to ask my self, does this matter? And move on. To me, looking at strangers is like looking at a cup -- rarely, if ever, do I get emotional feedback. Not that I get them off of a cup, but I hope you see my point. That, too, I need to keep in mind. I may not be interpreting them correctly. Of course it's not always that easy. The other day, this girl gave me a look I could easily interpret as hostile. She's in my dance class. She must have been walking behind me and may have recognized me, for as I got into my car, she walked across and gave me this look into the windshield. The vibe was undeniably existent, though I'm not sure what it would mean. So, I don't know. Then again, she really doesn't directly affect my life, so whatever.

Glad your hobby preferences haven't changed...:)
