kindly view my parameters- 50 yr. old male, in therapy 30 yrs.,misdiagnosed as bipolar. Then I read Born on a blue day and started to research this thing called Aspergers. Found WP, read all the posts, took all the tests, got my therapist to say yeah you do sound like an aspie now that you mention it. So here I am and I just want to thank Alex Plank for literally saving my life, and if the gods exist may they bless him and Daniel Tammet and Temple Grandin and all the members of WP.

that's kind of how i felt when i figured it out but i also have this dark cloud over me that has squashed a lot of my ambitions since, the "it won't ever go away" cloud .. hope it doesn't descend on you.

if you can retain your optimism you have now as you really absorb the information fully you will do just fine. knowledge is empowering.
