I have been lurking for a while, and recently got up the courage to post. I am a mother, and I have Asperger’s. My youngest son is suspected to have Asperger’s. He has an appointment to get a full evaluation in March. He is having a very hard time in Kindergarten, and it is only a half day program. I’m terrified that school will be as devastating for him, as it was for me 
I hope I can get him classified and that he will get the services to help him succeed. I also work with children on the spectrum. Anyway, I really enjoy reading everyone’s posts on the forum and hope I can provide others with insight as well.
