Innuendo ya gotta love it. I don't mean real music for sex. I mean music that moves you so greatly, your flooded with this emotion inside of you. It moves you spiritually and sends a shrill down your body. It takes a hold and you feel breathless. Like you're making out with melodies that have moved through your whole entire body.

Share those kinds of songs here. Give a little reason why it has moved you so much.

I don't know why, It's just amazing music. You don't need a reason for good music to move you. Lyrics are trivial most of the time. Not in this case though. xD

Lyrics:

Song Concept and Inspiration (from their site):
"The quietest moment of the album, also the most poetic. Inspired by the theme of depression, this one is multifaceted, since it was inspired by various human experiences such as how other’s behavior can trigger both grief and joy, how one can retreat into an inner sanctuary that vanishes every time we awake. Sometimes, when one can think all is over, some angel pops in and reach out with a smile. Within a human life too, they are seasons that keep changing on and on. Good times, bad times, good times..."

This song is amazing, the lyrics are like poetry and the music is gorgeous. It gives me an eargasm:

I have always had a thing for classical. This song however, makes my heart stop and shorten my breath. I feel like I'm flying and being absorbed into this new world. I can see so many stories from one song:

Another one of the classics. I love this song, there is something so dangerous and yet romantic about it. You can see the fires of summer and yet the love of summer. The burning ashes and then the smoldering passions. Its filled with power and yet subtle beauty:

I don't know about 'come' but everything else you described, I'll post these as an example. This isn't my whole list but they have some of the pinnacle aspects for me, I think you'll get where I'm coming from (no pun intended of course).

The Doors - Touch Me
The Doors - Light My Fire
The Pixies - Where Is My Mind

But one song always makes me happy, no matter what I have gone through.

John Lennon - Imagine ....such a beautiful song, even makes me tear up at times.

Every album Sigur Rós has ever released.
Riceboy Sleeps album.
Jónsi's Go album.
Imagine a Man by the Who.
A Man is a Man by the Who.
Dreaming from the Waist by the Who.
Alma Matters by Morrissey.
Hilli by Amiina
Almost anything by Explosions in the Sky.
Tangled Up In Blue by Bob Dylan.

That'd be all.

"Deeper N'Deffer" by Sgt. Rock. I have no idea why.

BACKSTORY:

I was watching an episode of Malcolm In The Middle. That song came on. I had never heard it before and didn't know what it was but that arrangement of notes just moved me so much. Thank goodness for TiVo so I could listen to it over and over again. I became obsessed with it. I googled around trying to find out what it was.

Google eventually led me to the website of a man who catalogued all the background music in Malcolm In The Middle. But he didn't have that one. So I wrote to him with a scene description so he would know what song I meant. He has all the episodes recorded so he was able to find it. But he didn't know what it was. This hole in his catalogue of all the background music put him on a mission.

So he wrote to the music ediotor of Malcolm In The Middle (how did he get that enail address???) and found out that the song was Deeper N' Deffer by Sgt. Rock. Blessedly that song was available on itunes. Now it's in heavy rotation on my ipod and has been since I found out what it was, years ago.

I have no idea or even theory why this song has its' hooks in me. But my mission to get it permanently in my music collection did ultimately lead to asking the music director of Malcolm In The Middle. That's obsession. But I don't know why.
