ahh my ears!! !! :cry: need to listen but cant take no more loud music.....*takes off headphones waits til tittinitus clears then put back on head phones...ahh my ears!! !! :cry:

Beethoven's 9th Symphony. I prefer the Academy of Ancient Music version. The whole symphony sounds great loud, but that ending is incredible at full blast.

The english lyrics are far easier for stiff american tongues to handle, but the musicality is lost in the translation, IMHO.

Totally a Bach fan...ever crank up Toccata and Fugue in D minor with good bass? wow...amazing!

Zappa is great, especially Peaches en Regalia, Stinkfoot, and Muffin Man!

totally agree on Prodigy, but I have to be in the mood

I'm not sure about "blasting" though; I enjoy hearing good sound cranked, but not blasted...then it's all distorted. If the bass slightly outranks the high end, always love a good bass feel .

But definitely have to go with Bach and related Baroque era composers....

What isn't the best kind? I'm going to say childrens music...aside from that crank till it distorts or hurts.
