I've seen Mozart and The Whale. And I've heard of Adam.

The Graduate is a good example, even though the movie was madein the 60s. The main character seems like he's an aspie.

There is many of them, where it isn't mentioned that the character has ASD. To name one, I think George Clooney (as Ryan Bingham) in Up in the Air has some Aspie traits.

And among the ones where they mention the main character has AS, other then the 2 you mentioned (which I liked), there is also Ben X.

And I suggest you take a look at the Television, Film, and Video section http://www.wrongplanet.net/forum10.html

Austin in "spies like us". I love it, IMDB says "TWO bumbling employees think they're spies". Austin was NOT bumbling!

HE passed the test
HE worked there as the head decoder and go to guy
HE noticed the watch
HE spoke the language
HE changed the trajectory
etc....

And he did it even though he was sent chasing a wild goose.

So he not only carried Emmett, and saved the world, but he did it without "the spies" even really knowing, much less helping.

So is he bumbling MERELY because he gave in to emmet's STUPID request to help him cheat and emmet was SO bad that it became SO obvious that they were BOTH considered cheaters?

Anyway, he was a loner, not very social, considered an EXPERT, and a number of interests, etc... AND, to further entice, "dan ackroyd" who plays him, ALSO says he has AS.
