I think dogs are more Aspie than cats. A dog will stay in your yard, is loyal & is routine with tricks & stuff. But a cat will wonder all over the neighborhood getting into trouble & they are also more inconstant & less loyal. Aspies are generally less outgoing, routine & kinda loyal(lots of articles about Aspies in relationships say that). Cats seem more outgoing & narcissistic than Aspie.

I never had a cat because my mom hates em; she used to be allergic as a kid. I had a dog thou

I prefer fish. Lower maintenance than both cats and dogs.

Okay, the assumption that all aspies are jerks plus that assumption that all cats are bigger jerks...

Not sitting well.

People tend to think their cats are just being jerks when there usually is a deeper and more serious reason for why they appear to be acting that way. For example I once read about someone whose cat refused to go in the litter box, and they believed the cat was doing it on purpose just to be a jerk. But it turned out that the type of cat litter was too hard for the cat's paws, which were declawed and basically the same as having your fingertips chopped off, to dig around in. When they switched to a different brand the problem was solved.
