I don't mean for your own respective families, I mean inventing your own family and creating a family tree for them.

I completed a family tree a few hours ago, and am in the process of crafting a sort of soap opera to go with it. It's very fun to look at.

I never done that but it maybe I should. To quote the late Rodney Dangerfield here

Quote:
I looked up my family tree and found out I was the sap

Quote:
I looked up my family tree and found three dogs using it.

I enjoy making up family trees for my favorite fictional characters. I like making up children and grandchildren for them. I've never gotten as far as great-grandchildren though.

I haven't, but my family's genealogy is pretty interesting. My mother has a de nova NF1 mutation, and we have a prevalence of MS, and Rheumatoid Arthritis too :)

I like creating my own fictionals families in my head - they are always large for it gives me the opportunity to endow the siblings with many varied looks and personality features (the present one consists of 10 siblings within the age range of 5-1 8) - it's the closest thing to an actual family tree as described by you. I never wrote about this but it's an important part of my fantasy life.
