That's Los Angeles, where I don't think you could ever trust the cops. Anyway, I bet they won't even charge him with murder, because it was "just a mistake", or something else like that.

According to the Canadian Press, Chaudhry had a first seemed 'cordial' to the officers, handing over his ID and chatting 'about his shoes, other cops he knew and how he stayed dry when it rained.' Cruz claimed that Chaudhry then 'lunged' at him with a knife and, not knowing that the Pakistani-American man was autistic, shot him. A police investigation cleared Cruz in the shooting; Cruz's partner, David Romo, had said, though, that he had not seen that Chaudhry had a knife. Cruz was fired from the LAPD in an unrelated matter, in which he let a prisoner escape and lied about what happened.

Its a wonder they did not say he was high on pcp. They need to design a camera that sits on a cops shoulder so you can monitor their antics and to keep them honest.

You shouldn't trust cops in LA and/or Chicago unless you know them personally.
