I'm starting to doubt that my friend likes talking to me.

I have a simple test. If you like talking to me, you'll...like...talk to me.

You can argue thresholds of "willing to" vs "wanting to", and think I don't know the difference, but "UNwilling to" definitely meets no threshold whatsoever. A one-off demonstration does not fool me.

Had I not contacted a mutual acquaintance with my concern, I would have learned about that very important incident from a facebook post after the fact. Your real friends were in the loop. I butted in where I probably wasn't welcome.

I have too many projects and I'm doubting if I'll get any of them done soon.

We're back to the specialists today for my daughter's test results.

Please knock all wood possible around the globe.

I don't get why it's much harder to find a romantic partner to be with.

No idea what to get everybody for christmas.

I feel stupid buying the same kinds of gifts every year. I used to always make drawings, little humorous comics featuring my family as the main characters, every year, building up an episodic story. But I've gotten so sick and disillusioned with art, and I've got no story ideas and there's not enough time left for me to make them, especially because my holiday's been moved so I won't have any time off before christmas... I don't think I will.

I'm afraid this might disappoint everybody... :(

Got a mini blender. :o Solely for making paper pulp. I've yet to try.

Received several coleus cuttings. All varying colors and shapes. Mostly for propagating.
I might've overdone with the fertilizer... Or maybe it's just the soil I brought.
Regardless, I need more pots of same approximate sizes and at least another 3kg of soil.

And I just want this annoyance in my head to be finally over, and stop irritating my throat whenever I breathe.

I've been listening to Cornel West's lectures in philosophy. I've not finished yet, but he seems to be saying that philosophy needs to be integrated into other fields, such as science, art, sociology, psychology, etc.

He is currently talking about how music expresses philosophical statements, profound ones, that can change the world. He cites John Coltrane's A Love Supreme, the entire album, as a monumental jump forward in philosophy and cites several illustrations of same.

I am familiar with Coltrane's music, but I am more partial to early Miles Davis. I am wondering, why Coltrane and not Davis (or other musicians)?
