I stayed home today. I feel sick and exhausted. They want me to work overtime because we had a lot of clothes left from yesterday, but things being mismanaged isn't my fault. I worked 11 hours on Friday and did like 5-6 hours of OT last week, so thats it for me for overtime for awhile. If they want extra effort from me and for me to bother going in while sick they're going to have to figure out their s**t first.

I was just thinking of all the times that I ran away from WP due to political and religious differences and because I was experimenting with a plethora of personas. I would leave and not come back for weeks. I don't do that anymore. I might have been overly sensitive in the past and I haven't felt that I've really found my place on WP, even after over a decade. I have a place on WP. It's just that I'm more of a traditional soldier than a modern hippie.

I was just thinking how being a monster doctor, as in a doctor who takes care of sick and injured monsters, would be a lot of hard work. Monsters are such diverse creatures. Some have more limbs than they can keep track of while others have no limbs at all. How would you give a monster that has no skin or muscle, like a skeleton, an injection? And then there are the monsters that think that just because they're technically not alive, like ghosts, they can't get sick. But it turns out there are ghost germs. And the vampires get really embarrassed because they think they're too "noble" to have an illness. They say, "I'm a vampire, I don't get sick. I don't feel good sometimes, but I don't get sick", even when they're sucking on coffin drops and have a fever above zero.

Bike rusting away in disuse.
No thanks to the wet season.

Can't use the bike because of the damn weather.

Having to need waterproof shoes or some covering on my legs since I can't just pack a pair of pants to work, and whatever protects my glasses from getting wet -- I'm not that reckless.
And this weather is making my nose stuffy. :x

Money is such a stupid concept and society would be much better if we didn't constantly measure values on money. People's efforts should definitely be rewarded for sure. I wish I knew the solution.

I hate having sensory issues. Sounds that don't bother other people will startle me or hurt my ears. Some of the sounds the machines at work make constantly distract me and give me anxiety. My diet also has been very restricted lately because I can't handle the texture of anything. I've been eating the same 4 or 5 foods in rotation.

Having the midday sun glaring into my eyes as I was doing the Christmas kettle killed my appetite for 5 hours. It was 7 in the evening when I finally ate dinner. I could never work outdoors for that reason.

There's been multiple times where I've been standing outside at night in almost pitch black darkness and I hear something start walking towards me. It terrifies the hell out of me every single time because I don't know what or who it is.
