I still want Pacific tree frogs. I'm very confused on what type of heat lamp I would need to get, and if I need one that doesn't emit light for night time and then to get a separate light source for the day time. People also suggest heating pads, but they don't seem to work as well or last as long, and can get too hot if you get the wrong size...

I still can't find my blood pressure meds.
It's been a week or two.
BP is dangerously high.
I'm already having blinding migraines.
I guess I have to stop taking my ADHD meds in the meantime.
This should be a shite-show.

Have you contacted your doctor?

No, because I'm too dysfunctional.
I keep thinking they'll just show up.

I can barely even look for the meds because of my migraines.
I'm bedridden.
I'm afraid of raising my heart rate by searching the house.

This is getting ridiculous.

If someone could explode the sun it would help a lot.
The sunlight is absolutely debilitating.

You NEED to contact your Dr or other health professional. This isn't a 'wait and see' type situation. Do you even know what your BP is right now? High BP is no joke. Unmanaged high BP can be life altering, or ending. Even if the call you make is to emergency services, this is something that cannot be ignored. I have responded to countless calls for high BP and I never saw those as a waste of resources. Trust me, EMS deals with actually trivial calls all the time, dangerously unmanaged high BP, is not one of those trivial calls.

On last check 182 / 99.
Last week it was 192 / 100.

I've already suffered two strokes and I have a blood clotting disorder.

It's maddening because I feel like my ADHD could kill me:
It caused me to lose my meds.
It causes me to be too disorganised to find them.
And, taking my ADHD meds raises my heart rate.

On top of that I have Long Covid so I'm coughing and sneezing.
I have a heart condition where coughing and sneezing can cause blood clots.

Sorry for the melodrama but I'm fed up of living in a Catch-22.

I took my blood thinner but I can't find the hypertension one.

It's Sunday so I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I have so many autistic family members. It seems like every time I hang out with people from my family they end up having a conversation about one of my cousins having autism or possibly having it. It's always weird sitting there and listening to them talk about it. lol

I had to go to work before and I only just saw this. I don't think waiting until tomorrow is an acceptable option in your situation. You have unmanaged high BP and a history of strokes. Not all strokes are the same and each one could come with permanent life altering consequences or death. If you have a stroke overnight, they will NOT give you treatment medications as the last known well time is in excess of the window. You are also at risk for other serious complications such as heart attack, or an aneurysm. You also NEED to figure out a long-term solution to avoid this in the future. Talk to your doctors and family about how to avoid a repeat of this.

Just finished reading Sensei no Kaban, a novel from 2001. I was rather skeptic since the couple it was about had a really big age difference, but that might have ended up being the reason it was so good. Many romance novels have overly graphic sex scenes and the like, but this one, while having some sexual content, definitely didn't go overboard, and with how the story went, I think it's safe to say that at least part of the reason was the age difference. Of course, that also made the story have a sad ending since the man dies at the end. It isn't said to what, but by reading between the lines it becomes pretty clear that it has something to do with old age.
Anyway, it was really good. Gotta love the friends to lovers theme... actually, maybe that's the real reason it was so good. In most romance novels I get my hands on it's about "love at first sight" and lust, which can be pretty ugh... friends to lovers just feels so much more real.

I really, really wonder what was like to actually meet another autistic.

Not someone too young -- preferably on legal age.
Not someone too incapable -- whether it's low IQ, too low EQ, or just outright not mentally and emotionally healthy.

And preferably not definitely someone too convinced to the social ideologies that most NTs are subscribed to a point of being a try-hard.
The type that's using emulation not as an interface or a facade -- but the type that are too convinced they are a broken version of a neurotypical person.

I wonder if my coworker made a social mistake today or if I'm overthinking about this...

Here's the thing: I have IBD and he knows it. Usually, I go to my breaks on a very specific schedule that tends to be off a few minutes here and there, but that's about it and I always have the same amount of breaks. However, today slightly after lunch I had to leave my work station twice within an hour outside of my normal routine 'cause my stomach was acting up, and apparently my coworker noticed 'cause, when we were cleaning up at the end of the day, he asked me if I'd had stomach problems today. Now, if it had been just the two of us there, I'd think nothing of it aside from maybe it being a little awkward, but there were other people there, people who don't know about my condition, so... wasn't it socially inappropriate of him to ask that in front of others? Or am I too sensitive? I mean, I am of the mindset that people should talk more openly about their health so that all the stigma and hush hush -culture would fade, but I still got a little uncomfortable. :?
