So I had a thought, hopefully it would get me some more responses to messages I send. Or maybe I'm just thinking too much about it.

I live in an area nearby two other states. Most of my high percentage matches come from state A, a handful from B, and few from C. However, I live in C.

Since I have very few quality matches in C, and not many nearby in A or B - should I change my town on the profile to a nearby town in A? It might look better to those in the big metro area in A, rather than seeming too far away being in C.

I'd think 'if he lies about where he lives what else is he lying about...'

You could always change it and openly say, I don't live in (new state) Yet, but am planning to move/prepared to move.

I once went out with a guy who said he was 27. He was 32. I didn't care that he was 32 but I never spoke to him again after he lied to me about something that insignificant.

i don't think that would be a wise decision...
