At drive-thru fast food it's always plain with meat/cheese no onion or other stuff. Last night at Chili's I got my usual $13 Fajitta just chicken and cheese no onions, sour cream or anything else. Erica mention oh Brandy got the $13 thing. That's my usual and the only thing I like at that restaurant. I did try there soft taco stuff once but it wasn't the same it was ICK!

I did when I was a kid and then when I got to high school, I learned what I was missing out on so I started trying different foods. It started with Dairy Queen Blizzards. Instead of getting cookie dough only, I started trying others brands. I do it in restaurants too now with foods.

But there are some foods I can never resist. Mac and cheese at buffets.

I have my usuals at each place but I do also enjoy trying something different occasionally.

I do have routines at restaurants. I remember one time I ate out and someone paid for me? I couldn't afford my usual, so I got obsessive about going back and having my proper usual and made it more of a routine.

I want to be like League Girl and try more stuff but once I'm giving my order, I usually drift right back to my usual choices.

I am not completely incapable of trying new things, though. I can pull it off if I plan for it.

I usually check the resturant menu online and decide what to have before going.
I find it is one thing less to be worried about.

I intentionally change my routine every time I order something. For some reason, it really annoys me when the cashier knows what I am going to order before I say anything.

If I didn't make a point of deliberately ordering something different, I probably would get the same thing every time.

I like when resteraunts know my order. It makes things easier for me.

"The usual"

"Yes,"

And it makes it easier for me. I want to eat the same foods. When it was a new place to me, like a resteraunt I just found out I'll try different kinds of food for at least a few days. Then if I find one meal I like, then I wnat it and only want that.

I have a routine for my lunch order (go to the same place almost every day on my break), but it's okay if I have to deviate from it.

I tend to have the same stuff for a good while when it does come to my lunch break and I will only keep having it until I eventually got bored of it, I did eat chips for a good while but it did eventually get to the point where I just gotten fat and my face started getting spotty, so I had to try switch around so it doesn't seem like that I have the same thing every single time.

I also have a routine when I eat out. When I have breakfast at McDonald's after my morning shift, I order two sausage biscuts with no cheese and a tea.

If anybody does that to me, I order something different just to confuse them.

I got teased a lot in high school for doing things the same way every day, so I've just developed the habit of being a bit unpredictable.

At McDonalds I tend to start on the fries first before eating the burger.

Always.
How about fries on burger? I've done that since I was a kid.

My routine goes like this:

Mc Donald's: double cheeseburger, fries (no drink or water). I'm partial to the Legend Chicken burger now.

Subway: Roasted chicken, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, olives, carrots, avocado, old English cheese, mustard on a toasted 6inch wheat bread. Plus two choc chip cookies.

Grant's (which is a seafood restaurant): Thai fish burger, water.

Eagle Boys Pizza: Gourmet pizza.

Chinese restaurant: Mongolian lamb with vegetables. I used to always get satay chicken.

I have had only pancakes with a glass of milk when having breakfast out for as long as I can remember

I hardly ever go to a restaurant. Once every couple of months when I do, the same place for the last 4-5 years and always the same dish when I do.

Yes, I have routines for almost every restaurant I go to. I change it up sometimes, but I always end up falling back to the routine.

I even eat the food in a certain order once I've got it.
