Why do girls with autism love the Powerpuff Girls?
Why are aspie kids obsessed with Home Alone? I was obsessed with it when I was 8. Then I knew a little boy who was also obsessed with the movies which was my old aspie mate. Then I heard in the Roger Meyers group by one of the other members who works in special ed and one of her aspie students was also obsessed with it.
I have never seen any aspie girls obsessed with The Powerpuff Girls. I think it's coincidental just like Home Alone was. The girls fight crime so I am sure aspie girls wish they could do that with their bullies. Kevin was the reject of his family and an outcast and always getting into trouble thanks to his oldest brother and aspies can also relate to that when it comes to their peers and bullies and I am sure they would love to set those awesome traps for them. That could be why?

I was making a joke and didn't I write "coincidental" in my post?

Ah! My deepest apologies.
I didn't sense the joke; I thought you were being serious. D:
Umm, last I checked, one girl ? all, or even most, girls.
For the record, I detested them thoroughly.
Blanket statements/assumptions are one of the most irritating things on this planet.
well said and hopefully that'll be the end of this topic.

Thanks for the clarification.
I enjoyed watching the Powerpuff Girls with my family when I was a child. I always identified with Bubbles because I'm blonde-haired and blue-eyed, I like "cute" things and I cry a lot (or at least I used to). The Powerpuff Girls never developed into a special interest for me, but I did incorporate some of the elements of the show into my imagination at the time.
By the way, did you know that the Japanese developed a Powerpuff Girls anime? It's called Powerpuff Girls Z. Look it up, I'm serious.

My interest was always politics and war......now it has also evolved to include law.

ALBERTAN...and DAMN PROUD OF IT!!
I was more into Mojo Jojo.
I still enjoy watching Powerpuff Girls. But as an adult it's for more reasons than girls fighting crime. It's pretty damn clever with the jokes.
