Do you believe in a parallel universe?
I saw the documantary with Michio Kaku and i was amazed.
Is the 4th dimention also a parallel univerese?

The fourth dimension is time.

Is time not a universe?

Time is part of what makes up a universe. Without time, things like general relativity don't make sense.

:x Time is a dimension, i still believe that the theory of a parallel universe is plausible.

didn't we already go through this with the many worlds theory thread?

Time wasn't brought up, though the general topic of parallel universes was the heart of the matter.

Never said it wasn't.

I don't believe in it but it's interesting to think about.

Yes I do. I also believe in the Multiverse Theory.

I think there is. I also have a theory that my dreams are a connection to an alternate universe, where small parts of my daily life, and unreal visuals (e.g. videogames, movies) are put together, and played out in epic and very strange adventures when I am asleep.

Thus, our dreams are real, but in a different universe. Just one of our brain powers, being able to connect to a different universe, albeit in a hazy and unclear way. On a different note, humans could also use telekenesis; we just haven't figured out how yet. :?:

Sounds silly, but it sounds awesome, right?

Dreams are just ultra-hi-def video games your brain gives your consciousness to play while it archives your memories.

I find the idea charming, but there is not a scintilla of evidence for parallel universes.

You need to stop doing that. There is evidence for it, it just happens to support other ideas as well.

To paraphrase the Big Bang Theory:

In an infinite number of universes, with an infinite number of Me, in one of them I won't believe that parallel universes exist.

:? I think Black holes are the connections between the parallel universes.
But scientists are afraid of moving through a portal like object.
A blackhole is also a death imploded star. 8O
But i also believe that a wormhole is folded aether.
I think Ruveyn is right, there is no evidence to proof this theory is accurate.
Its like an axioma.. :x
