Roger Moore, his ad libs are great, plus he looked great as a clown, in disguise

My first choice would be Moore, although in my opinion Connery and Brosnan are both pretty close behind.

I'm not that big a fan of the recent ones with Daniel Craig, though. When they rebooted the series, it seems like it lost most of the humorous undertones which made James Bond so endearing in the first place.

I grew up with Pierce Brosnan, so I'm rather partial to him. He's the Bond of my generation.

ian fleming himself preferred hoagy carmichael, but that particular actor was 61 at the time of casting, and considered too old.

My favorite James Bond movie has always been GoldenEye, and Pierce Brosnan was my favorite before the 2 most current movies, but Daniel Craig is great. So I say that my favorite one is the current one, in this case Daniel Craig. ;)

Connery, Dalton, first-outing Brosnan and Craig. There are no substitutes.

Roger Moore sucks. Period.

george lazenby because his characterization was human enough to cry when the baddies massacred his new wife.

I voted for Connery, the first and best Bond.. But ya know, since the franchise's reboot, I've seen a bit of Connery's Bond in Craig, as if Craigs' Bond eventually matures into Connery. But that's just me.

I love Goldeneye, so I'll go with Brosnan. I refer here to both the N64 game and the film. Makes me rather nostalgic

Sean Connery, with Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig coming close behind.
