This video is racist... what's wrong with the actress saying that her ancestry is native american and romany? OK, she may have very dubious taste in movies, and be involved in the occult, but there's still no significance whatsoever to her ethnicity.

I think you are reading too much into it. They basically wanted to start off from something normal and then surprise the people who watch by switching onto creepy stuff. So the whole native/romani was just her intro, it wasn't meant to be any better or worse than, say, half british/ half french.
