The funny thing is, I just responded to an almost identical thread over in the Art section. I've got two Asperger's anthems: The first is very literally an Asperger's empowerment EDM mix, written by the man I quote in my signature. The second is a little less direct, a prog-rock song that could possibly be about Asperger's, Bipolar or maybe even Schizophrenia.

Number 1: Burgertime (Savant Theme) - Savant

Typically, people with Asperger's mention their diagnosis in the form of an apology. Savant treats it like a badge of honor.

Number 2: Solitary Shell - Dream Theater

The whole album is written about people who suffer from mental disabilities, and this is the song that comes closest to describing me and my Aspie friends.

"Thank you" by MKTO. It's about being an outsider and living life the way you want to. (:

I think they are being ironic, but taken a face value it's a nice uplifting song

The Monster by Eminem & Rihanna. Because well, aren't we all friends with the monsters under our beds, trying to get along with the voices in our heads?

I can't believe no-one's put this one up yet!

I am what I am
I am my own special creation
So come take a look
Give me the hook or the ovation

It's my world that I want to have a little pride in
My world and it's not a place I have to hide in
Life's not worth a dam
Till you can say, hey world, I am what I am

I am what I am
I don't want praise, I don't want pity
I bang my own drum
Some think it's noise, I think it's pretty

And so what if I love each feather and each bangle
Why not try to see things from a different angle
Your life is a sham
Till you can shout out loud, I am what I am

I am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck
Sometimes the ace, sometimes the deuces

There's one life and there's no return and no deposit
One life so it's time to open up your closet
Life's not worth a dam
Till you can say, hey world, I am what I am

Why not some Tim Minchin? Just to lighten the mood, the song's called "Not Perfect"

Solitary Shell by Dream Theater absolutely. I prefer their heavier stuff but the lyrics are spot on for people with AS.

wired wrong by Steam Powered Giraffe is the perfect aspie anthem
My brain is wired all wrong
And they'll agree because it's easier to say I am gone
It's time to face the truth in a song
I've always told myself that it was never true
was never true
was never ever ever true
it can't be true
it can't be true
it must not be true

Someday I might tire
Having walked through these fires
because I am wired wrong

Maybe someday I'll be
In a place where I can see
that I'm not wired wrong

My brain is all wired wrong
but that's how it's been all along

My brain is all wired wrong
but that's how it's been all along

Sometimes I think that I am the only one
Who's been built poor in the way that he runs
But how can that be? Am I really that flawed?
I am not the only one
and it'll never be true
will never be true
never ever ever be true
it can't be true
it can't be true
it must not be true

Someday we might tire
Having walked through these fires
because we are wired wrong

Maybe someday we'll be
In a place where we can see
that we're not wired wrong

Our brains are all wired wrong
but that's how they've been all along

Our brains are all wired wrong
but that's how they've been all along

We are wired wrong (x4)
La la. La la la la (x2)

Our brains are all wired wrong
but that's how we've been all along
Wired wrong...

all of their songs are from a robot's point of view, but this one fits aspies perfectly

I like: I'm still here, Welcome to my life, and I'm just a kid

Perfect ( by simple plan) might fit if you think of "dad" as an allegory for society.
This is war by 30 seconds to mars doesn't apply, but I like it.
Son of sorrow is another one I like, but I don't think it applies.
