That's amazing! How did you manage to find the same jacket and shirt? Are they from a vintage store? It's a great look.

Is that a cravat? You look great. Whereabouts would i get my purple suit from?

After Ranger school I'll be one step closer...
Do you mean Ranger, as in an actual Ranger from the US Army? Or is it a differant Ranger that I am thinking of? 8)

The US Army variant. Rangers lead the way, HOOAH!

U.S. Army? That's awesome! And looking at your profile, I see you have the 'Diagnosed Aspergers' listed. I thought Asperger's was one of the 'banned conditions' to be in the Army?

(I was in the Army too, but that was before I was diagnosed with Aspergers. I want to go back in, but I was always worried they wouldn't accept me back in because of the diagnosis.)

First of all, it isn't allowed, but I was lucky to have a psychiatrist who was disinclined to keep a record of it, to my advantage. It hasn't affected my military career at all, except to make me be seen as eccentric by a lot of my battle buddies (Not a rare thing in the Infantry).

If you want to get back in with a recorded diagnosis, you have two choices: Lie, which I don't recommend but they'll never find out if you don't have to get a security clearance, or talk to a recruiter about it and see if you can get a waiver, which almost certainly won't be a problem if you have never taken meds for it.

I think I'll go the waiver route, as I haven't needed to take meds for it, and just in case I ever have to get a security clearance. 8)

Three other questions: Have you ever required therapy, what was your MOS, and why were you discharged in the first place? Did your contract run out or was there some other issue?

first I changed my environment. this saga will now be set in the sea.
new design features:
octobrain addition to filter out/catch new information and bring it into the main brain headquarters.. octobrain acts as a translator between my brain and the water species with whom I will no doubt have many challenging conversations.
wordmouth bubble to convert water into air. also my words will appear in this bubble, this way my speech is written outside of my mouth. octobrain will also help with this process, as octobrain can send out a tentacle to catch something and bring it into my wordmouth bubble, thereby translating directly from reality to speech, essentially telling it like it is.. yeahh!

oh and those green things behind me are my fins.
