For YEARS, he stole art from San Francisco art galleries, and hid them in his 10'x10' room in the slums. His family said that he was hit in the head with a hammer by an abusive caregiver at age 4. To me, this SCREAMS autism, maybe of the lower functioning type. Both? Something else entirely?

head injury induced brain damage can have almost identical symptoms to autism.

I don't know if he had AS or not, I do known I'd make a really good art theft though... except I'd feel guilty for stealing them and I'd wind up giving them back.

Which is what makes me wonder if I actually have AS, or just good old fashion brain damage.
