Yep, those bags of chips are pockets of air with some crumbs on the bottom.

Has everyone noticed since the economy went to s**t that the amount of food you get has shrunk? I had an old can of tuna and a newer one has a full ounce less weight in it in comparison.

The companies save billions a year that way, that's why they are 'value'

People complain when they raise prices, so instead they make the portions smaller. I remember reading something about a bottled drink where they redesigned the bottle so that it appeared to be the same size, but there was a huge indentation in the bottom of it so that it held less liquid.

Those dumb stickey pads you put on the bottum of your feet to 'pull out bad chemicles'. You can easily see what a scam they are by lightly putting water onto the pad.

what's really bad is when they both reduce the size and increase the price.

Those are all good ones.

How about telephone (and cell phone) service
High-speed internet
cable TV
all boy bands
$50 bras
$10 underwear
car maintenance at the dealership
food in a restaurant (for the most part)
collectible figurines

I was in business class the other day. My business teacher told us that most jars of condiments and stuff like that have half an inch of glass at the bottom, so it looks like more. There was a term for it, but I forget what it was.

You Really Got Me by Van Halen is a rip off to me. I respect that there are other members who beg to differ.

I'm one of em but I like a lot of their stuff.

Beezid.com is a ripoff. Buyers have to buy bid packages in order to make bids & every time a bid is placed; it goes up by one cent & the countdown stars over. You get charged to make bids even if you don't win em
