how do you read WP forum?

hi there,

some people here respond so fast to any messages, i wonder how they keep informed. I mostly just check the homepage and read the the newest messages on the right side, and from time to time i update. Do you read the RSS thing or what?

I receive e-mails for posts in threads I'm subscribed to, which are mostly ones I've posted in, and I also use the "View posts since last visit" page.

i keep tabs open of all the threads i'm interested in.

Every time I come here, I begin with "View your posts" to catch up and/or to keep up in threads where I have already posted, and that works very efficiently since the "Last Post" column quickly shows whether any posts have been added recently.


After doing the above with "View your posts", I also use "View posts since last visit" to see all other current threads ... and I go through them one-page-at-a-time while scanning for eye-catching titles and/or for less that "5" in the "Replies" column to try to help assure nobody feels left out.

Overall, I am continually going from http://www.wrongplanet.net/forums.html to "View your posts" and/or "View posts since last visit" and then back again.

I also receive e-mails of the threads I've participated in. I also look at the recent threads on the home page and browse individual forums.
