This was a mistake, Frieslander.

You didn't have to tell her anything of this.

Well, there are varying opinions in the thread. And she's taking it pretty well. I couldn't really NOT tell her. It was driving me a little nuts.

Lose that pic on your profile and put the torso shot you took. Tell her someone said to do it for awhile just for kicks so she doesn't think it was you being vain, LOL. That might make her consider you. The virgin thing I could care less about but the schizophrenia would make me uneasy and probably slow things down. If she sees you manage your life maturely she may warm up - good luck to you.

HuH? I don't want a torso pic of myself on my OkC profile.

No woman on OkC has been scared off by that yet, and there have been three that I have exchanged messages with.

Some schizoaffectives/schizophrenics harm people. My first cousin, a guy, picked up his dadover his shoulder because he thought that his step-mom was going to shoot his dad with a shotgun. A guy who I temporarily lived with at an AFC home later killed someone apparently for little reason. That's not me.

Does this have something to do with my post?

I had to look up Marmite since I live in the States.

Marmite? I'm afraid we don't have that in Canada either. Haven't a clue what that is.

No. It's good that he told her. I would want to know as soon as possible. It makes it easier to work with any challenges that may come up in the relationship.

That's just about the hardest thing for us to get right, isn't it? The right time to say the right thing. But, when you feel like not owning up to something is affirmatively covering it up, the right course of action becomes pretty clear. Even if the reaction is not what we expect or would like it to be.

We have it. They sell roughly three jars of it per year, nationwide.

Marmite is a crime. The UN should be prosecuting them for crimes against humanity.
