Right now I just don't care. The Japan earthquake was epic, but this Libya mumbo-jumbo is boring. As was Iraq and Afghanistan.

I tend to make a sweep of a few sites when I want news and analysis, some of my usual haunts are Reason, the Agitator, Salon, Mediaite, Politico, the Atlantic, Slate, the Volokh Conspiracy, and CNN/Fox/Comcast for headlines. I sometimes cruise the Big sites, Counterpunch, and Media Matters when I'm looking to see what the purely partisan take on an issue is, since those three tend to be more overtly biased than the others I peruse; comparing the spin is always interesting.

I watch UK Channel 4 news. It's a lot more detailed than other sources I've seen.

News isn't for entertainment's sake.

I watch CNN for news, as I consider them the most reliable source. I watch MSNBC for political opinion, as I find myself in agreement with their political slant.
