I don't know if I'm having a case of unconsciously mimicking symptoms, or something else is going on, but I'm starting to have trouble maintaining eye contact. Before this, I actually had too much eye contact, my aunt said it bothered her.

I can still look at eyes, but only for a few seconds, then I can go back to looking at them for a little while, or I look between their eyes or blink a lot or something.

?

I have the same problem. Before I could easily make eye contact, but people would tell me to stop staring at them. Ever since I've had a hard time knowing what to look at at when I talk to people. It's so weird I really can't describe it. I want to make eye contact, but it's hard to do it. I don't think its unconsciously mimicking symptoms, as I started doing this almost four years ago, while I've only known about AS for over four weeks.

ooh the exact same thing happened to me.............once I was aware that I made "too intense" eye contact , after originally not making much I started trying to make eye contact intermittently at the right times and it was just too hard........ so I stopped...I'm 26 now.
