I started smoking cigarettes when I was 15 (I'm almost 30 now), but I quit in February of 09. I do, on the other hand, smoke cigars, and occasionally use Swedish snus.

I don't smoke now but I started smoking really early in life, at about 11, partly as a coping mechanism and partly as a social stimulant. It was never more then two or three a day and I stopped smoking regularly a few years later. I only smoke on occasion now. - and I've forgotten how to roll properly. Which I suppose is a...good thing.

I've smoked a cigarette before just to say I've tried it. Personally I'd never try it again, or liked it. I think the habit is too conforming and would become addictive after a certain point. It's also too expensive, think of all the money you're wasting

No. My Grandpa, who I liked a lot, died from lung cancer. I hated the smell of my Dad's second hand smoke in the car. My mother in law has COPD.

I gave up smoking 10 years ago. I can think of better things to spend $1500 to $2000 per year.

yes I smoke and have for half my life but still enjoy a 10k jog once a week .
Don't smoke in the house, around the kids or nonsmokers. I think for me originally it was a reason to go out side away from the crowds and has became so ingrained in my habits that the addiction would be easier to beat than the habit. :wall:
