Didn't read the whole thread, just posting my answer. Studies have shown health benefits from eating meat and dairy products, among people who are health-conscious. Vegetarianism/veganism is only healthier if you compare it those people who gorge themselves on fried fast food, or smoke, or make other bad decisions. Eating meat can be healthy, humans are omnivores. For example, there is no plant source of Vitamin B-12.
