I'm having trouble with apt-get source. Yes I have my source code repository enabled.

can you try:

Code:
apt-get source conky

and confirm that the source code repository is down? Has it ever been up?

The mint forum is useless as it wont return searches using the key terms "apt-get source" or "unable to find a source package"... or any package at all.

Orwell said that it has never functioned despite mentions of access on their website. This jibes with my experiences too. I tried mint 9 briefly and never got sources.
