My fridge keeps food and other items in it cold. However, it can't keep anything outside of it cold.

I've noticed that in the UK people call beets "beetroot" and not just beets like we do over here.
That seems kind of redundant to me. Like if you called carrots "carrotroot" or potatoes "potatotubers". :)
