Hello everybody, I have a question that just popped into my head about the genetics of Aspergers.

I am 19 years old and my mom and dad both have aspergers, and so does my older brother. I've never been diagnosed with Aspergers, but I do seem to have a lot of the same traits. I think it's probably just from growing up with them that I picked up a lot of the same mannerisms.

I've read up on whether or not Aspergers is genetic, but I haven't really been able to find a good answer. I was just wondering if it could be a recessive trait that didn't affect me but could affect my children (when I have them). Do you think my children will have a better chance of having it due to its prevalence in my family, or is it not more likely since I personally do not have Aspergers?

I hope I was clear enough about my question, thank you :)
