I have a relatively famous (for the time) female pirate not too far back in my family tree. If that means anything. I forget the name though. Maybe is where I get my relatively relaxed view toward laws lol.

Kraftie and April,

You are two very fascinating people! I have studied a lot about both Russia and the Balkans. It is interesting to read stories about people from those parts of the world.

In my folk dance class, I heard a song called "Beautiful Macedonia." It has been running through my head a lot lately.

I wonder sometimes why I get so interested in certain parts of the world.

^ Thank you so much! :) I'm very interested in different cultures too, especially japanese and asian cultures in general! I don't know much about my heritage, but when we were children we often participated in contests for folk dances. It seemed like a chore at the time, but now i kind of miss those days!

I'm fascinated with Japan, too! I would love to go to Tokyo for the 2020 Olympics and visit a cat café.

^My ancestry tells me that I'm descendent of one of the Counts of England, but during either the 18th or 19th century, they lost the inherence because the previous family was just being anti-protestant. :P

Middle Eastern. That's all I know, really. My parents thought I was too stupid to figure out what that meant to tell me more. Yeah ...

I'm Western European American.

That's how I would describe myself as well. A Western European American.

I'm not sure how I feel about trying to associate autism with ethnicity, but I'm a sucker for statistics, so here are mine (I did one of those genetic tests - not sure why they don't add up to 100%):

42% British/Irish
39% German
4% Scandinavian
>1% Ashkenazi Jewish, Spanish, SE African

Father's side is mostly Hispanic that traces to Spain and one line onward to the Canary Islands. There's also a few infusions of Comanche.

Mother's side is German Swiss, French, and a a little lesser Swedish & English.
