Well, the goal of any Strident Atheist is to show any faithful person such clear thinking, rationality, and moral virtue that they are alarmed and project themselves onto you. This, today, has happened and I regard it as an endorsement.

I'm sorry, I'm not willing to surrender my mind to reasoning that goes "The Bible is True Because It Says So." If you can call me a "fundamentalist" than it is a commitment to the fundamentals of rational thinking.

Yes, he is a cleric of a conservative, fundamentalist, reactionary religion, known as Strident Atheism.
