I have tried it as a technique, went to some classes once, tried on my own as well more than once, but the overall
meaning of my situation continues to press on my mind, completely bypassing any consciously intended technique, and I simply cannot relax. For meditation to "work" at all, I think (in my case, I mean), it would have to be accompanied by some kind of religious or philosophical understanding, which I don't have yet, although I have been trying to reach a better understanding of reality, over the last 5 years or so (following the catastrophic ending of yet another attempt to have "psychotherapy").

Almost certainly not Aspie, but certainly something like it
