I really love Were the World Mine. Thirty years ago, Parting Glances was amazing, too.

Does Bohemian Rhapsody count? It's the only movie I've ever watched with a gay lead character. I really like it a lot!

But I don't see it as just an LGBT movie. It's just an amazing life story of such a truly great rockstar who happened to be gay.

Enduring Love

A Hitchcockian psychological thriller starring Daniel Craig (a few years before he began his tenure as James Bond) as a normal straight man (who has plans to get married) who unexpectedly becomes the target of a stalker (played by Rhys Ifans) who believes the protagonist (played by Craig) is in love with him after they meet in the aftermath of a freak accident.

A very interesting film about the darker side of love. Well worth a watch.

I'm going to name some shows instead. A recent one I like is "Gentleman Jack." Last night I watched Season 13, episode 21 of Law and Order, which has a gay-centric script and also Martha Stewart.

Liked that one too. I don't quite remember what it was about, but I know it was good

Ian McKellen (who is openly gay) plays real-life movie director James Whale (who was openly gay) best known for classic monster movies such as Frankenstein, the original Invisible Man film, and Bride of Frankenstein.

Whale in G&M is in his later years in the 1950s. Bill Condon (the writer/director of G&M and is also openly gay) won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

"Christopher and his Kind", based on Christopher Isherwood's life in Berlin, where he met the real-life Sally Bowles around whom he based the novel that went on to be the film "Cabaret".

"Christopher and his Kind" is great - highly amusing in places, deeply sad in others. The full movie's on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-MD4z7_RI4
