I collect a lot of random things but I've just got into old batteries. I have only one battery at the moment an 'Ever Ready 3v No.8 BIJOU' : http://img97.imageshack.us/i/imageddc.jpg/
I think it may be from the 1950's 60's. as you can see in the picture it's outer shell is made of card! (7.5cm x 2cm)
I think they no longer produce this size of battery anymore. I have old Ever Ready flashlight that fits it!

I got it off eBay someone else actually bided against me I paid £7 in the end.
Any idea where I can get old batteries from other than eBay or any websites on collecting batteries?

@_@

When I was younger I used to collect batteries, but that was many years ago.

As for websites about old batteries or where to get old batteries, I would just search on Google.

I used to collect them and arrange in alphabetical order. That was when I was 7 though.

Energizer's Nickel Metal Hydride cells are annoying me at the moment by not delivering enough current for long enough and getting too warm and upsetting the surrounding electronics.
