I am usually awake for all of them. I can get really cranky or bitchy in the mornings. Boring afternoon meetings become an exercise in propping my eyelids up, then suddenly I am wide awake again and get to repeat the whole thing over again. Working nights are the best, but you end up feeling like a ghost to the rest of the world.

I sleep very little. My days start early and end late. I am neither happy or upset in the mornings.

I didn't used to be but now I'm finding I like getting things done in the morning when I do my grocery shopping I like to catch the bus around 9.30 ish and then I can go shopping.
I make appointments in the morning as well as go for a walk in the morning.
I couldn't bear staying in bed til late anymore.

Yes, I am at my best in the morning, but only after a shower and a cup of coffee. I am exhausted by 3pm.

I love the early morning hours. I love watching the sun rise, and the world come to life. This time of year, where I live, early morning is the only time you can go outside and have it be bearable.

I don't have a time of day when I feel good.

Mornings I'm always really tired (up at 730 for work)

After lunch, I'm always really tired

Then by 9 - 10pm I'm really tired.

Then on weekends, I try to fit in a nap somewhere to catch up.

No, I hate getting up in the morning, but I my reasoning isn't that simple.

As others have said, I actually like the world first thing in the day - I love sunrises, birds singing, the complete quiet (well, few people :D ) and all that.

What I hate though is that the morning is the prelude to work, having to socialise with colleagues, having to keep up my front and pretend to be NT, having to keep my cool driving through rush-hour traffic and the rest. It's all too much stress and sensory overload.

At night, I can slob around, be myself, watch TV, and lock the world out.

I also have this subconscious desire to avoid going to bed, because if I go to bed it will suddenly be morning again and everything will hit the fan again. Illogical I know, because the later I go to bed, the tireder I get, and if I'm tireder my AS excesses seem to show more, which makes me more stressed, which means I want to avoid the next morning .... and so it goes round.

I'm that tired at the moment the only thing that's keeping me from collapsing into my PC is a load of caffeine, which makes me more stressy, which ... well you've got the idea now :P .

Usually I'm definitely not a morning person.

But I've had periods where things just happened that way, I'd start waking up early (that means 7-9 AM-ish) because for some reason I'd gotten to bed very late, or because I was in a period where life was fascinating... Maybe others know how it is with that: You sleep less and want to wake up earlier because you want to experience as much as possible.

Usually, though, my life is very uninspiring and there's not much to get up for. Most of my waking hours go with fighting for my rights and trying to force myself into doing what is "good" for me: Eating well, getting exercise, abstaining from smoking more than 20 cigarettes a day, vacuuming, etc..
I hate myself for not having had the self discipline to do all these things, just because there's no joy. It's not an excuse, but it's become my reality.

Oh, s**t, that was a long 'No I don't get up early'!... :D

NO!

I'm an utterly vile person until about 11am. After that, I'm just a bit of a grumpy sod.

I'm not a morning person at all. I notice that during holidays when I don't have to wake up early, I have a very strong tendency to become a "night-owl" instead.

I can only wake up early consistently if I have School/Uni, in which there is routine and I have to go to the city by a certain time.

I'm a morning person AND a night owl. I like staying up late and it only takes me a few minutes to fully wake up in the morning once I get out of bed. My mom hates it that my dad and I are always so cheerful in the morning.
