No, I hate getting up in the morning, but I my reasoning isn't that simple.
As others have said, I actually like the world first thing in the day - I love sunrises, birds singing, the complete quiet (well, few people ) and all that.
What I hate though is that the morning is the prelude to work, having to socialise with colleagues, having to keep up my front and pretend to be NT, having to keep my cool driving through rush-hour traffic and the rest. It's all too much stress and sensory overload.
At night, I can slob around, be myself, watch TV, and lock the world out.
I also have this subconscious desire to avoid going to bed, because if I go to bed it will suddenly be morning again and everything will hit the fan again. Illogical I know, because the later I go to bed, the tireder I get, and if I'm tireder my AS excesses seem to show more, which makes me more stressed, which means I want to avoid the next morning .... and so it goes round.
I'm that tired at the moment the only thing that's keeping me from collapsing into my PC is a load of caffeine, which makes me more stressy, which ... well you've got the idea now .
