Where are the links to terrorism required in the resolution?
Where are the WMD required by the resolution?
If we were enforcing UN mandates why did they not help us?
I why don't we enforce the ones against Israel or ourselves?
but please roll your eyes say I don't understand.
call me arrogant. but plain and simple the Iraq war was a swindle
and a f****.

Actually under US law, Congress is the decider on the US going to war, we don't need the UN's permission and in fact the UN was taking bribes from Saddam.

@ pandabear
Obama is quite frankly breaking the law, he is not a King.

Nice dodge your honesty and integrity are outstanding.
using the word decider marks you as a gorilla specialist or a knave.
so was Saddam guilty of links to 9/11?
was there WMD's?
Was the whitehouse honest in its reasons for going to war?
I trust with your high values you will change the subject.
rather than answer those questions.

The Bush administration was honest as to the reasons of going to war with Saddam, the problem is that the people the Bush administration was relying on to get accurate intelligence (the CIA) was still in pieces from the Clinton administration gutting it.

So we agree that the CIA is less than worthless.

You appear go out of your way to make excuses for jerks and bumblers. George Bush was not the brightest light on the Xmas tree for starters and being under the influences of Rumsfeld and Cheney did not help matters one bit.

Think about this: George Bush (Dubya) makes Bill Clinton look good by comparison. Does that alarm you? It should.

Well considering the CIA was gutted by the Clinton Administration, that Clinton could have had Bin Laden shot so 9/11 would have never happened, and the Clinton Administration enacted policies that pretty much caused the housing crisis by the end of the Bush Presidency; by comparison Bush actually had a rather good Presidency.

Also Sprach Glenn Beck.

President Clinton brought the country from unprecedented deficits to balanced budgets.

President Bush brought the country from balanced budgets to its knees.

The "gutting" of the CIA began under the presidency of George H.W. Bush.

Half true, Dick Morris dragged him to the negotiating table so he would sit down and work with Newt Gingrich (whom was the one trying to balance the budget) and actually work with Newt to balance said budget.

9/11 happened, maybe in your mind we should have just sat down and cried to the UN.

When will you ever learn? It is "who", not "whom."

And, he did deliver balance budgets. Which would have happened without Mr. Gingrich.

The USA did cry to the U.N. In my mind, the government shouldn't have gone on mindlessly cutting taxes to pay for two wars.

Under George Bush, Jr., the CIA was reduced to fabricating evidence to support the case for invading Iraq.

I wasn't in favor of intervening in Libya, but if we pull out now, the situation will become a much bigger problem for us than if we see it through.

From your statements it looks more like you want to blame Bush for anything and everything regardless of whether or not he is to blame.

Obama's now ignoring his own lawyers' advice on the War Powers Act:

Obama's claim is that the NATO bombing don't constitute "hostilities", so the War Powers Act doesn't cover them.

To the contrary, it happened under Clinton, specifically when Clinton appointee John M. Deutsch implemented a rule prohibiting CIA agents from employing any sources who might have done anything illegal. That effectively prevented using any sources that might know anything about terrorist plans. As one CIA agent put it, "how are we supposed to figure out what the bad guys are doing if we can't talk to them?"

To the contrary, Gingrich had to force two shutdowns of the government to get Clinton to give up on continued spending increases.

Well, considering he let Princess Pelosi and Dirty Harry turn healthcare reform into a partisan brawl, called fellow Americans that disagree with him politically the enemy, etc., I actually don't think I have an equivalent to Bush derangement syndrome towards Obama. If you want to know, my initial distrust of Obama came from the fact he comes from the Chicago Machine, he pals around with a Domestic Terrorist, etc.
