There are songs that I don't like at all, that are very popular either with the world or fans of the band.

Is there any songs that seem really popular with the fans of the artist or the world, that you don't like very much?

"Barbie Girl" - Aqua (they had so many better songs than this on Aquarium, and yet this is all they're remembered for)

Really, IdahoRose? I don't hear Evanescence songs often on the radio. Hmm.......

It's like I can't eat out somewhere without hearing one of those two songs playing(I actually like Vampire Weekend, just can't stand that song anymore from overplay). And yes, I too can't stand when that SMS Rihanna track comes on the radio... largely because everyone else in the car I'm usually in likes it and I have to sit through it every time.

any heavy metal/screamo, any rap and alot of hip hop songs.

Anything by Queen, Kiss and Van Halen.

Obviously genres I don't like, such as pop, but in the realm of rock... well, I like the music but hate the lyrics of Nirvana and they're one of the most popular alternative bands around. (Actually, I tend to like grunge when it comes to the music but can't stand the creepy and surreal lyrics. Ruins the whole experience) I also don't really like the Rolling Stones attitude, but that's what they are sort of known for so I suppose it's just not my taste.

I can't stand country like Taylor Swift, and I cannot stand any of that 'Gucci Garbage.'

I do like Cascada and Evanescence and Nirvana in this forum, though.

To each there own, I guess.

Not a song, but an artist: the beetles....the lyrics are too mundane for me

anything by Radiohead, Nirvana, Michael Jackson, REM, U2.

s'all i can think of for now.

I like ABBA, but there are quite a few songs of theirs that I find way too generic, right down to the tune.

I also really don't like "Disturbia"; no idea why.

There are a lot of songs I don't like, but the one I can't stand for the life of me is "Take on me" by Aha. It's a long story as to why I can't stand the song, but every time I hear it, I have to change the radio station.
