Dating an aspie VS dating NT

What has been your experience in relationships?
I was married for 28 yrs to a controlling verbal abuse type NT but I survived.
Now trying dating. The only semi-successful relationships have not been with "normal" guys.
I don't get it.
I think maybe I like people who are a little "different" and feel safer with them.
Feel safer with people who don't lie or do sarcasm or similar verbal tricks.
But in the longrun if I want to find a life partner, do you think another aspie or a NT would work best for happiness?
