Eclipse version 3.7 (codename Indigo) was released on Tuesday, June 22, 2011. It is an integrated development environment (IDE) that has plug-ins supporting development in various programming languages: Java, C, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, Groovy, Scala, PHP, etc. It also includes integration with versioning/source-control repositories like git, Mercurial, and CVS; support for JEE application servers/containers like Apache TomCat; etc. It's what we use for Java development where I work.

Does anyone else use Eclipse?

I've been an eclipse enthusiast for the last decade, although my employers force me to use netbeans at present. Using the both of them is a pretty good way to encourage using eclipse and letting netbeans slide into the history books. Like Sun, really.

Somehow, though, the evidence I present fails to catch the attention of the people I work with. Odd that. I must be a poor communicator.

Used it when doing ColdFusion development. I used to work down the road from an eclipse building.
