Rarely; usually people don't like how I am completely honest and say "yes" and "no" rather than adding words between to fulfill a social contract.

Society is filtered and groomed to lie. Most of us aren't. We tell it as we see it, and they say whatever works best for the situation.

Being honest and genuine is a good thing. Lying and being rude and offensive isn't. I think everyone needs to learn a thing or two, Aspies and NT's alike.

I suppose western society is more open to social awkwardness than Indian society ? I feel that I am a bit handicapped in a society where everything is so contextual i.e. relying on body language and gestures rather than words
