As some may know, my main interest is weather, so that by default means that there must be an active thread about it :P

Whether you talk about the weather passively or actively, or whatever, talk about it here, whatever the weather, whether the weather is hot, cold, boring or exciting!

This thread invites more discussion also, rather than just stating the weather and leaving, though that is not exactly discouraged. :)

At just after 9pm, it is currently mostly clear and 14 degrees Celsius (57 F) and falling, after reaching a high of 20-21, which is slightly above average.

When we get into the 80's it is starting to get really bad. I am just wondering Ten is a high percentage of humidity worse than low humidity?

The weekend just past was very hot though, that was not enjoyable!

Ten don't find yourself in Las Vegas. That is hot walking at night when it's pitch black.

Good idea for a thread. :thumleft:

Right now the temperature is 13.8 degrees C.

The highest temperature today was 29.7 degrees C at 14.08

We had 7.2 mm of rain today. And lots of thunder.

And it is now 95% humidity. Which is why I am wearing my best pair of gills.

My cats don't like thunder. Or rain. One of my cats is 5 and still hasn't worked out the basic concept of sheltering when it's raining.

It's in the low 80s right now, but so is the humidity. I nearly had to swim downstairs for a drink. :?

I wish it was that cold here, it is supposed to get up to 114 degrees today. Though I don't know the current temp. The nice thing is that is cloudy, a rarity here, so that's good.

I like weather, though it's not one of my obsessions. I am interested in clouds. I like observing them and trying to figure out what kind of weather is impending, but I don't know all the different kinds. I am about to educate myself:

http://eo.ucar.edu/webweather/cloud3.html

Edit: I won't remember all those funny words, but I like looking at the pictures. The Altostratus ones look like flying geese, and the cirrus ones look like...em...I can't think what they resemble!

Ah, a question for you all then, what is your favourite cloud type? :)
