I saw a new therapist yesterday who introduced me to the Enneagram, and the nine personality types. Here is the wiki link:

I found this site with excellent descriptions of each personality type and how the Enneagram works. The title of the personality type is a link to a more detailed description.

She had me pegged as a five immediately, and the description very closely matches a lot of the AS characteristics that fit me.

I thought it might be a link that some others might find interesting as well.

I'm definitely a five, I forget which wing though. 4?

I'd say that I'm a five with a six-wing.

That's the most interesting thing I've ever read, with regards to personality type. I'm a 4.

"Five with Four".

I took an Enneagram quiz which pegged me as a 4 with a 5 wing, which is known as "The Bohemian". Interestingly, I have read that my favorite actor, Johnny Depp, shares my type. Anyway, I read up on what it means, and let me tell you, it was the most accurate description of my personality and flaws that I have ever read in my life. It helped me to understand myself better than either one of my therapists had. I highly recommend looking into the Enneagram to anyone who wants to understand themselves better.

You all should check out the Kiersey Temperament Sorter (aka Jung Typology Test). I had similar "Wow! That's me!".

I found it to be highly accurate, easy to understand and very professional.

Also, it's easy to peg other people too, which helps you understand how you should deal with them. Very fascinating and helpful.

I felt like that too, it describes me perfectly, including the flaws. I read the other descriptions and didn't get that feeling at all. Also, reading the list of famous 4 types, I was quite amazed that many of them were people whom I feel a connection with (although I don't know any of them personally). I love Johnny Depp as well. After posting last night, I also decided that I have a 5 wing - explains why I studied microbiology. But the 4 type also explains why that never felt like the real me and that I should have gone to art school instead. I listened to my Mum a bit too much when I was a teenager.

I think I'm a mix between 2, 4, 5 & 6 with a few characteristics of 9. Does anyone have a link to a quiz
Every Jung Typology type quiz I took online scored me as an ISTJ. Different descriptions I've read about ISTJ's are highly accurate of me I am an extreme J

I got Type 4 with a 5 Wing.
