I have an adopted cousin who I consider my nephew, so I would say a qualified yes for myself.

How close are you to them (ie your nieces and/or nephews)? Do they seem more like a distant relative or like a child of your own? I'm close to my nephew when I see him, and I love him, but probably not as much as I would love, my girlfriend or something lol. He's a good kid though. :)

I feel like my niece and nephews are my own children but I don't get excessively crazy about them. I would adopt them in a heart-beat if I were to.

I have two nieces. One is my sister's little girl and the other is my brother's little girl. I've never met my brother's daughter, and I've only met my sister's daughter once. So... not close. I would still do just about anything for them.

I have three nephews - one from my half-brother and two from my half-sister. Since they live in a rural town that's a couple hours away from where I live, I don't get to see them very often, so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't even remember who I am.

Yes. My brother has 2 daughters, 10 and 4. The 4 year old is supposedly on the spectrum(IDK if she's been formally diagnosed).

I might be...
I have a brother somewhere, I've never met him and can't find any record of him, he's 40 now so it's very likely he has kids.

Oh yeah... I have a half sibling that's about 5 or 6 years older than me that I've never met. I suppose he/she may have a kid or two.

Yes, I've been an auntie since I was 13!

My oldest brother has one son (age 8).

My other older brother has three children: two boys (age 13 and 4) and one girl (age 12).

I have 2 nephews. Both go by dazza. Lol.

My ex-husbands brother knocked up a drug addict and she had a son 3 months older then my son. We got introduced to him just as my son was going through diagnosis for autism. That was really hard for me. I never see the kid nor do my children. My ex-husband sees him more then our own children though.

My brother has a son who is 2. He was seperated from his ex-wife. She has custody and we don't get on well. Her BPD and NPD don't mesh well with my aspieness. Lol. He had his birthday recently and i went overboard with presents including ordering here comes science from the US. I have had no feedback at all.

I have the same number of nieces as I do nephews, so I don't know if I am an aunt or an uncle.
